Job Description :

1) Name of the post : statistical investigator Grade-1 (training), 01 post for Hqrs. Office of registrar general, India under plan scheme.
2) Pay scale :PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade pay of Rs. 4600/-
3) Classification : General central service, group ‘B’ gazette, Non- Ministerial ,
4) Method of Recruitment : Deputation including short term contract basis.

Eligibility Conditions :

Officer under the central government / state government / union territories.
(A) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre / department; or

(ii) with five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment there to on a regular basis in posts in pay Band-2, Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade pay or Rs. 4200/- or equivalent in the parent cadre / department; and

(B) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience :

Essential :

i. Master’s degree in statistic or mathematics (with statistic ) or economics (with statistic) or commerce (with statistic ) from a recognised university.
ii. Three years experience in organisation / conducting of training programme.
