Job Description :

The Registrar of the institute is the custodian of records, the common seal of the institute. He / she is the secretary of the Board of Governments, Senate and Finance Committee. He / She is required to provide administrative support to the director. Besides statutory responsibilities he / she would be expected to participate in decision making process at conceptual level. He / she should have initiative, drive and wide ranging experience in all aspects of academic administration.

Essential :

1) A post graduate degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in UGC 7 point scale with good academic record from high school and onwards.
2) Minimum 05 years of experience in one or more of the following areas. Academics administrative matters including legal, labour relation & laws, recruitment, establishment, estate management of which at least, 02 years should be in a supervisory / superintendent capacity in group ‘B’ in government, semi. Government, financial / commercial origination, reputed organized department of university / technological institution of national standing etc. Or educational or research institute.
3) Should have effective communication skills in English (written, spoken), computer application abilities.

Desirable :

• To help in facilitating, instating and coordinating the academic work of the institute, particularly the teaching and assessments of students.
• To help in maintenances of grades and academic records of all students, both past and present.
• To help in providing administrative support to the senate, this is the highest academic body of the institute.
• To help in assisting the administrative matters
