Job Description :

1) Name of the post : Statistical investigator Grade-1 (plan), 15 (fifteen) posts for Hqrs. Office of registrar
general, India under plan scheme.
2) Pay scale : PB-2, Rs. 9300- 34800 + Grade pay of Rs. 4600/-
3) Classification : General central service, group ‘B’ gazette, Non- Ministerial ,
4) Method of Recruitment : Deputation including short-term contract.

Eligibility Conditions :

(A) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre / department; or

(ii) with five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment there to on a regular basis in posts in pay Band-2, Rs 9300- 34,800+ grade pay of Rs. 4200/- or equivalent in the parent cadre / department : and

(B) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience :

Essential :

i. Master’s degree in statistics or mathematics (with statistics) or economic(with statistics) or commerce (with statistics) from a recognized university .
ii. Three year’s of experience of collection, tabulation, analysis and interpretation of statistical date .

Desirable :

Three years diploma in fine Arts / Commercial Art from a recognized university / institute.
